Mission Statement

The Bare Cove Fire Museum, Inc. is a nonprofit, tax exempt organization whose purpose is to preserve the history of firefighting in New England in general and the Town of Hingham, Massachusetts, specifically. This museum will preserve and exhibit the artifacts and history of Hingham firefighting and surrounding area fire departments, as well as teach firefighting history and promote fire safety and prevention.
